I think a women cant be as good as a man in carrying out the functions of the most highest position in the country. What do you think about Prathibha patil??Will she be able to become a good president like her predecessors??Im very happy in the fact that a women is occupying that position in India for the first time in history. But is she capable like olden presidents??

i do not think that in this age also we have too much gender differences that we arise questions like are women capabale of becoming president or prime minister or etcetra ,i think till now we women have shown our capabalities that we should not be questioned again ,as far as indian president is concerened i do not think it as a issue of gender but i think kalaam has made a great president and he should continue for the next term ,i do not see pratibha patil capabale enough for presidentship not because she is a woman but because of her capabilites

I think a woman can do a great job as a president. But,I cannot say if Prathibha Patil will be.I don't know her issues and how they will effect the laws and society of India.I do wish her luck.

I can not agree with you. The Powers of the Indian president is limited and may be the power is less than that of British Queen or King.Mrs. Prathibha Patil can perform like her predecessors. I dont think all of her predecessors performed very well.
I remeber Mrs.Indira Gandhi, Mrs.Sirimao Bandara Nayage of Sri Lanka, Golda Mayor of Israel and Mrs. Margarette Thatcher of Britain. All these women were better than most of the male administrators of their respective country. so the Gender is not a criteria for their capability

Man or woman there is no difference. If they can carry out the job assigned to them it absolutely ok.
