is euthanasia for you? / myLot

If you had a friend/relative dying of a terminal illness and he/she has given you full authority over his/her euthanasia, woudl you oblige her wish? Given that the doctors already told you that she has no chance of living and the only thing which keeps her breathing are the machines. Should you give the doctor a go signal as to terminate her life or would you leave everything to chance?

I would be the first to pull the plug. I don't understand why it is okay for us to end the suffering for our animals and put them down but we aren't allowed that same dignity for our families. Something is wrong with that picture I think.

I feel the same way you do, whywiki. We can end our 'kids' suffering but not our own or families. Just not right.
