How could I improve my english?

It's often said that English is the hardest language to learn because it is so complex and there are no certain rules. As the other reply says, your English is very good. My Pakistani is non-existent! Perhaps you could read some English books. I would suggest modern books rather than Shakespeare or such. Other than that, keep practicing and don't be afraid to ask.

Sounds like you are coming along quite well, actually. There are times I don't understand some native speakers, and they don't understand me. At least we don't have too many regionalistic phrases being used here. It pushes my buttons to see someone using "yinz" or some other quasi-english word in an international venue like this one. And as far as some of the vocabulary, I still look some words up, when I don't get something. Never feel like you have to hit 100% without a lil help from Dictionary.com, wikipedia.org, etc. Also, it just plain takes time to get more and more comfortable.

I know the English language is hard sometimes as we pronounce words funny at times. Your writing looks great so good job on that!! I think places like mylot and chatrooms can help in learning the words. I have a lot of respect for anyone who speaks more than one language. Your english is very good. If you really feel a need to improve though, try watching english soap operas. I have an aunt who is a native of Columbia, and she said that helped her a lot when she was learning english.

Well, your english is better than my pakistani, lol. You speak it quite well actualy. The best advice I can give is just keep practicing. There are so may dialects of english, even with in my own country, there are probably a hundred different dialects of english spoken, depending on where you live here and so many different accents and slang terms, it can get confusing.

yes this is the best way, i also post and comment here so that i can type fast but all of the best so i can speak better english , so i can get to the level of speaking english that my friends are on so i can be just like them.

well u can improve ur enflish by reading news papers every day n buy listening some comprehensions which will improve ur listening skills n to speak better try to give some sought of a speech on any topiv every day to improve comuunication skills

I guess your english is fine and okay.I am a filipina and english is not my native language as well.But here in the Philippines,english is important for communication either way,written and speaking.Because,it is our second language and we could used it to communicate foreign people for business and having friends.I know i am not that perfect in grammar but i am trying my best to deliver it as best and right as i can.If i have words that i dont understand,i dont worry much much because i have my friend and its "Encarta Dictionary Tools"...It always help me to find the meaning of the words i dont understand...Hehehe...Im sure it can help you too...

it does not matter that one should have his/her mothjer tongue english english is one of richest languages in this world which has been formulated after a heterogenous mixture with many root languages of this world. u study books,magazines and compere english how it is written. build vocabulary of words...see some words are used by one country to mean something are not used by people of different country. get a book of antonym and synonym and study them .read novels of different countries authors. one fine morning u will find your inferiority complex is gone

Hello Sheen, the only thing u need to do is believe in urself...as u said u speak and write fluent english, u are good in english..the only thing which happens is some words in english u are not able to understand..that is natural..nobody is perfect in this world..nobody knows all english words..so whenever any difficluty comes u can check dictionary...and keep learning..learning is fun and exciting, right... enjoy.. have great days ahead.. thanks rekha

I would like to watching the English movies because I could learn the native English from the movies. The only thing you should do is to choose the movies from USA,UK and other English-speaking countries.

i think you have done really well in that paragraph you just wrote.actually looks better than mine lol and i only talk english nothing else. well maybe you could purchase a program for your computer to teach you more english, a friend of my sister did that to improve her english.

You're good in English and I don't think you need to worry about it.

One thing I would suggest is buying books on CD or tape to listen to and pay attention to the way they speak. From what I just read in your post, you need help with your spelling and grammar. And, you are incorrectly ordering the wording of your sentences. Some of your verbs, nouns and adjectives are out of order. You could also look into getting a tutor who could work with you. I do not see anything wrong with you English. I can understand you and I am not a native English speaker. I learned English in school. So if I understand you and you understand me than both our English knowledge is good enough. More really is not necessary. I think that these abilities increase by themselves when used like at mylot. Native English speakers who do use wrong grammar or spelling there is enough at mylot. This seems to be more a problem here than your English.

Your English is very good but little weak, if you want to improve English than you have to practice it. there is a saying that "Practice, Practice till you succeed".Its a true saying because if we practice we can achieve the impossible and if we will not practice we cant achieve a single thing. So start practicing from now onwards
