How do you handle getting dumped?

Different people respond differently to being dumped. Biggest differences being between boys and girls obviously, other than that how would you respond to being dumped? If you have been dumped before how did you take it?

well, I have only been broken up with twice in my life, and both times I was young, and in high school, It felt like it was the end of the world and I cried for about a day, then got over it =) If I got dumped now, It would tear me up, but fortunatley those were little high school relationships and it was fairly easy to get over pretty quickly.

no, I think the deeper the relationship & the more "real" and deeper the feelings & the more at stake now would be harder. As now I have been with this guy 6 years, we have created a family, two kids and one on the way, I think it would definitely be harder now.
