How many of us actually know our geography? I know I don't know it all that well after seeing this site and taking this quiz. It's a great site for parents, kids, or anyone at all to learn about the world and all it's majectic wonders. Check it out. Sit with your kids or grandkids doing the quiz etc. Theres a lot more to this site than just this quiz. It's a National Geographic site and is filled full of knowledge. They have sections for parents, educators and kids/teens. Check this out it's fun actually. http://mywonderfulworld.org/

Thanks for the Link Bob! I think I'm going to play this with my son!
And to be honest, I think I'm pretty knowledgable when it comes to geography. Call me a nerd but when I was younger my older sister and I would have competitions, we would sit down with a pen and paper each and have a contest to see who could write down the MOST country names in the world. It couldn't be just a random country we would have to then locate it on a blank world map (if the other disbelieved your knowloedge of this countries location). Although I was in highscool and she was in University I used to 3 out of 5 times kick her butt lol. I love geography.

I didn't do too bad on the quiz myself and I wish this had of been around when I met my now boyfriend. I say that because he was from "New England" and for the life of me I couldn't find that state. I knew it existed because of all of the literature about New England, and then there was the sports (football team) the new england Pats... etc... yeah, we still laugh about it now, he's from new hampshire and new england isn't really a state..... lol! I looked pretty ignorant though when we first met.

That is a wonderful site. Thank you so much for posting that link. I never would have known about it otherwise. I got eight out of 10 right on the quiz, but I had some lucky guesses!

I loved geaography when I was in high school. In fact it was my best subject.
I had a look at the competition, but it is only open to US residents.
The games & geaograhy IQ look good.
Perhapos I should get y 13 year old step son to do some of this.

I took geography as GCSE.
But having said that I wouldn't say I know everything, I did well and passed. Still much more I would like to know and learn and that like sounds very interesting.
*heads off the the site..
