Can u give me some tips on starting a business

Hi thats what im trying to do is start my own business.I want to start my own group home.Here is my discussion http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1013538.aspx you might see some links posted there where i think i posted and then there are some tips.Check with your local chambers of commerce they have free business workshops and they allow you to have a an unlimited business counselor.Mine do so im sure yours has it.check for schedules and make your appointments.Then there is a program im in if you qualify where my state allows me to have an account and they put 2 dollars to every dollar that i save and after i have reached the maximum amount they allow me the money goes towards my business. you can find out if your state has that program.its called individual developement account program check with check here http://www.sba.gov.com there are grants you can apply for to go towards your business which i want myself. i get notified when new grants come out you can go here http://www.grants.gov/ I found the program i was telling you about from matthew lesko book he has some good information in there.I am blessed to be in that program.I wish you luck with yours.
