She won't hold still!

So adorable!!! It is a known fact that when you are wating for something to happen or want your child to do something that they will not do it as they usually do LOL. I have on several ocassion caught my son doing something silly and when i went to get the camera he wouldnt continue or do it again. Now that you want your daughter to fall asleep to get a better print of her hand she wont. You might have to wait or change tactics. wait until after she is asleep until you get all the things out that you need to use. or try doing it while she is awake maybe letting her add her own little mark. We did something similar for Father's day. My mom-in-law thought it would be nice to put the baby's hands on a shirt for my dad-in-law. Well, let me tell you, the hand prints were barely recognizable and hands on the shirt. We had to do it while she was awake and the one hand she kept fisted. The other hand, she decided to slap the shirt repeatedly. God, what a mess that was!!!

no not all babies sleep alot she looks a bit older in the picture i mean not a newborn... The older the get in days the more they stay awake. I know this i had a baby 8 years ago. When my son was born yes for the first month he slept alot and u know did his things for mom to clean up..lol but as months went on he was more awake... by the way your baby is adorable and yeah i want another one too but my hubby don't sad thing is i'm only 28 and getting old soon i won't be able to have babies grr..lol best wishes to you and your baby.

Your daughter is so adorable! Just makes me want to have another baby. Sounds like a cute idea for an art project and a keepsake item. Babies never sleep when you want them too, its always when you want them awake that they go to sleep. Never a win win situation...lol

I haven't tried to do paints with my daughter. We joke and say she's got RLS-Restless LIMBS syndrome. She is never still. But she's adorable. I love babies! They're so cute, no matter what they do!

I absolutely love babies. I use to just play with my little one until someone fell asleep. Normally that would be me. But it did work a few times.

yes I have this experience as I tried many times even I slept sometime with camera to record the thing once she did and hopefully will do again....no never...and when u arent ready u will be just surprized by all of their activities....it is hard to get the best thing to u but I know the funniest thing what i missed
