Have you ever rated negative if you dont like the way he/she response????

I sometimes just inore it I have learned answering back and leaving a negitive response just causes more trouble and I don't like to start a argument.

Yes, I have rated someone's post with a negative sign. Up until recently I never used to rate anyone's posts except for the best response rating. After I started a discussion where it was impossible for me to decide whose post was the best, I started to give them all positive ratings. Until I came across one post that I did not agree with. The person was making some rude comments to the other people that posted on my discussion so I rated them with a negative. I have done it a few times and won't hesitate to do it again if I feel the person is being inappropriate.

I believe that people have their own thoughts and beliefs so I never give a negative rating to a comment no matter how much I dont like thier thoughts. I always consider and appreciate any response no matter what it is cause for me healthy discussion starts when people varies from thier opinions.From there we were given time to analize and think more each opinions until we arrived in a common thought.

I've rated negatively when the person resorts to insulting me or someone else. I've been in one or two discussions that are a bit heated, but I never call anyone a name or imply that they are stupid, because everyone has a different opinion and I respect that...so all I ask is the same respect...you know? So if they insult someone, I might rate them negatively. Also if I see a spammer, I'd rate as - and then !. We have so many spammers around, myLot needs to start a detox program! Lol.

I hoestly have ever rated one answere to my discussions negative and the reason was that whoever it was just responded that they didnt know anything about the discussion. Well it didnt help me out in any way and you really not supposed to leave comments like that and so i marked it negative. But i feel that if i dont exactly like the responce given it is someone elses oppinion wether i like it or not so i may just pass it over and not mark it either way. But if i like the responce that i come across you better believe that i will be the first to put a plus there for the person.

I rarely rate anyone, period. Doesn't matter what they're doing. I just started rating recently. But unless they seem like they're completely off-topic or say something extremely offensive, then no, I wouldn't rate negatively.

If you write a silly response or one that is meant to provoke a fight, you will get a negative. if you disagree and make sense, you will get a positive, but if you disagree and your answer shows you are just parroting propaganda without thinking for yourself or if the result of your answer will detrimentally hurt, you will get a negative. It does not depend on the answer, it depends on whether the person thought about it. So you could say, "that global warming is caused by humans and mention that you are doing your part by recycling and making sure you have a hybrid car, you will get a positive," but if you say "global warming is caused by humans and mention that only people in the certain countries should have children, but other people should not" you will be given a negative, because your proposal is dangerous and would start a race war if implemented. That means that most people will get a positive.

actually i never have to mark a - for a response i got!i will mark a - only when he is spamming!i usually rate all responses i got as a + as well as all discussion i participate.i will rate a + other comments to discussion i have participated which have atleast 2-3 lines.i believe in give and take policy,if you give a + ,you will get a +.it worked atleast in my case(i got star rating 98)

No, I have not rated any members with a negative! I have reported a few for abuse though for posting prnographic pics and links. Even if I don't agree with a member, I will not rate them negative! Honestly, there have been a few times when I as other Mylot members have recieved harsh respones but I still rate them positive because they have a right to state their opinions:)

The only time I rate someone negative is if they are spamming the discussion or if they respond to the discussion but it has nothing to do with what was said or asked.

I think of it this way, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so unless you can tell that they are purposely being mean or rude, I wouldn't give a negative rating. I actually don't rate much at all, I guess I should.

I've not done that at all. Most of the time I give out positive or I don't rate at all. It just depends on the topic itself and the response. If it's something that doesn't make any sense at all or has nothing to do with the subject, then yeah it'll be negative. I haven't had to yet.

Hi, Coolgeth! I never rated anyone negatively *smile* I don't mind if there are rude members out there who replied to my discussion and wrote nastily about the topic being discussed. Let it be. I won't get angry easily. It will not make me rate him/her negatively. I can assure you that none of your replies to my discussion will be rated negatively. have a gr8 day!

so far i havnt as i have never seen a realy bad response to a discusion even if i did i am not sure if i would rate it badly as i think it would be kinda mean lol So my answer to your question is no not as yet

When a comment is downright rude or abusive I will rate negatively. The other day a man was having a problem with his marriage, and another man suggested he "slap the woman and show her who is boss" or something like that. You can bet he got a negative rating from A LOT of people!!!

I have rated some people with a negative but not because I didnt like their answer. Only if it was a one word answer or had nothing to do with my discussion.

I have never rated anyone negatively. I never will rate anyone but positive. And I do rate everyone I come across.

I will only give a negative rating on people who scam or curse. I don't give negative rating to someone's answers even though I don't like it. Everyone is free of having their own thinking. Different people have different point of view and I will respect this.

I never give people a negative rating just because I disagree with them. I have given a few negative ratings. The reason was a perosn answered several discussions in a row with gibberish. had nothing to do with the topic - and it was quite rude as well.

Uptill now I remember I have rated only one person's comments as negative. It was not for my discussion but I was just going through an interesting discussion. This was a new member who wrote some non-sense thing which was some sort of joke. I did not like it at all. So, I had given a negative mark for that comment. Other than this I have never marked anyone with a negative mark.
