Trying to save money! Need help and suggestions.

Money is tight in our household lately, so I'm thinking about starting a formal budget. Right now, my budget is written on the back of an envelope, that is tacked to the refrigerator. Do you know where I can find a free budget system online, somewhere that I can track expenses and income? Or, do you have any simple ideas for putting together a home budget that won't involve an expensive planner or system?

Do you have Microsoft Outlook...if so then you already have one....hit help button and then ask the question about budgets...there will be a template there for your use....

I think I got mine at about.com. It is just a blank printable form that you can fill out. It seems to work when I actually use it, LOL. I really need to get back on a budget as we are really tight with money as well.

If you have microsoft excel, I think there is a template or something like that. I usually wrote out what we can spend a month with any extra money. Also I got a pre-paid card to use strictly for bills and it seems to work great thus far. Good Luck!
