I think most people do care and apreciate it, both in my country, yours and all around the world. unfortunately good news doesnt sell so your only going to hear the loud, obnoxious portetsts on the news. It really bothers me when I hear people in my country calling for a "withdrawl" from iraq, saying we need to "end the war". you dont end a war, you either win it or lose it. What these people are actulaly calling for and in some cases hoping for, is defeat. Its very very sad.

I know, contravestory sells, and the people who do run these news programs are just ringing in the profits because of it. It sometimes makes me sick how, some people are more concerned with making more than looking out for the greater good of society. I say when you make a committment to help someone, you stick it out until the end, because I would hate to be viewed as a quitter.

First of all, congradulations on your decision to serve your country that way. Im not canadian but you guys are doing a lot to help out my country in afganistan and believe me, a lot of us recognize and thank you for that sacrifice. Be safe friend and you have my respect. I hope I can be the first to shake your hand when you get back from where ever they send you.

Thank-you very very much for your generous support. Its nice to know that people out their really do support and care about what we do. Theres many people who don't support the mission. I don't think is because they don't care. I think its because they don't understand. My family is a little worried about me joining, which is expected. Proud but worried. Once again thank-you very much and hope peace can soon finally be obtained.

I am not in the military myself, and I am not Canadian. Actually, I work at a VA Hospital in the U.S. I wanted to congratulate you on your decision to join the military and Thank You for serving. Your decision and sacrifice will help not only your country but the rest of the free world as well. Stay Safe!
