I got REALLY lucky with all of my kids. When my oldest was first born he had his days and nights backwards and would sleep all day and be up all night, but by 6 weeks old he got the routine down and started sleeping through the night. My twins would sleep at night time and just wake up every 3-4 hours to eat, then they would go right back to sleep. They both started sleeping through the night completely at 4 weeks..both of them on the same night!

I got really lucky with my three they were all about 6 weeks when they started sleeping through the night. And they were long nights too so they got plenty of rest.

crazymom-
last night my daughter slept 8 hrs again. what I have done both times is feed her a bottle around 6:30 then keep her up for around an hour or so. when she starts to yawn I give her a bath with the Johnson's bedtime bath with lavender and also use the lotion. I put her in her pj's and swaddle her really good. She cries for about 10 mins trying to get out but I just hold in her pacifier and rock her and "spank" her butt. She ususally passes out pretty good. Last night she woke up at 4am. I am going to try and slowly push back her evening bottle and bath to hopefully get her to sleep until 5 or 5:30 when I get up for work. Hopefully you find something to work for you

Stephanie was about 2 1/2 months when she first slept through the night. I was so happy because I am used to lots of sleep and obviously not getting my 12 hours when she first came home so it was nice and she still sleeps through the night unless our butthead neighbors wake her up.

believe it or not my son started sleeping through the night not long after I brought him home from the hospital. I think he was a week or two old.. He scared me one morning because I was up, from pain one night and I woke him up around two am from moving in and out of my room his crib was right beside my bed, I fed him and put him back down and went to sleep for the night, he slpet through until 12:30 the next morning!!! I woke up panicing because I thought something had happened to him during the night.
Ever since then I would put him to bed round 9 or 10 and he would sleep until morning.

Around 16 to 20 months, I have three kids and had to take turns with the feeding bottle once they were weaned off by my wife. My oldest son took about 16 months and the youngest one about 20 months. The older one had been weaned off at about 9 months and the youngest one at about 13 months. My daughter who's the second child, well my wife fed her till she was almost 18 months and then weaned her off, but she adjusted quite quickly.
