Will the Shrek movies continue, or is the idea of a Shrek 4 not a good one?

I saw Shrek 3, it was good/cute just like the first 2. If they can come up with a good storyline I think there can be a 4th. Shrek is a beloved character of all ages, and I think as long as they keep him on new/exciting adventures he will continue lighting the silver screen! :)

I think the production crew have done a great job of keeping the interest going. They are developing the existing characters and deepening their friendships. They add something new with each movie and that keeps it fresh. In Shrek 3 they continued to reinformce the message that it is not how you look, but who you are and what you do that matters. I think they are creating storylines that are akin what we all go through in life. The struggle to live an authentic life, relate to others, build trust, have a supportive circle of friends and keep family ties strong. I am a true blue Shrekie...and proud of it!

I haven't seen Shrek the Third but I hopefully will soon. As for anymore movies, I was on a website awhile back that showed upcoming movie releases and I saw that a Shrek 4 is expected to be released sometime in either 2009 or 2010. I don't know if this is completely true but it's something to look forward 2 if it is.

I have not seen shrek 2 or 3 but I will one of these days. I am not sure if shrek 4 would be a great idea.

I heard that they're planning a Shrek 5 as well (!) and that they want to make it 3-D. Not only that but puss in Boots is going to have his own spin off movie.

I think it would be good idea to stop at Shrek 3. I have seen all parts of Shrek, the best was Shrek2 in my opinion. But Shrek 1 was great too, and Shrek3 also is not so bad, but not as good as Shrek1&2. So, I think If Shrek4 will become reality, it probably would be quite funny but not so wonderful like part 2 or even1.

They are planning on making a 4th Shrek movie, I dont think they have a plot yet for it but in 2010 they are suppose to release the next Shrek movie, I read it on wikipedia that dreamworks planned it before Shrek the Third was even released. I know I am looking forward to seeing it, I love that cute loveable Ogre, lol.

I think they could probably make some more of the movies and people would watch them, but while i think they're cute movies, i think it will get old. usually movies with tons of sequels usually do, and this series is no exeption.

the brains behind the Shrek movies are just amazing. If they've made three great Shrek films, i think they could still pull off a 4th - or even maybe a 5th ; ) we should also watch out for the puss in boots movie, 'cause i heard it's going to be great.

Well am waiting for the fourth one eagerly.This is my favorite movie ever..
