Has anyone had a virus or got infected with spyware recently?

I like so many others have been trying out these paid to click sites, anyway since I have been doing this I have got the same spyware and virus on my computer twice in the same week. Has anyone else been having this problem? If so do you know where you got it from? Please respond I am desperate for advice on this.

I got trojan in searching for windows xp themes, I downloaded this theme from themexp.org and install it on my computer and bang! my antivirus detected a trojan. I'm glad i have a antivirus to alert me. Just update your anti spyware and antivirus often.

Good advice, although I do have a firewall up and that usually tells me if something is wrong, in which case it did alert me, it was just a little too late

Okay if all else fails I would be happy too, I never thought there were so many anti virus anti spy ware programs. I have never needed one before.

yeh these paid 2 clik sites do tend to get viruses/malware/sypware in to ur comps..i used 2 have the same probs earlier because of manyy search engines and such sites.. if u feel ur computer is acting dodgy like slowing up or takin lot of time to respond to ur actions... its most likely a spyware in ur comp.. and these trojans are all over the web and usually get into ur comp mainly thru dodgy sites or mails.. so think twice be4 u download nethin of the net..

Yeah I figured it was from one of the p2c sites,just because I have never visited or tried any of them untill now, and low & behold I get 2 viruses on my computer, It kinda sucks cause I am usually really carefull about stuff like that.
