It all depends on one's attitude. But I would rather think that our superiors need us so as to finish the job on time, then the fruit of our labours would benefit everyone... the employer, the superior, and ourselves. If you think that the reason of your superior is to just gain a "tap" on the back... think again, my friend. You may be in his position one of these days... and when that time comes, would you like your subordinates think that you belong in that category too?
