to follow or to resist an order from superiors

bosses are placed in the workplace for subordinates to follow... however, if the boss says or does something that is against the morals of this society, will it be alright to go against it? i believe even if i am just a subordinate i will have to assert my right to disobey my boss...

If it pertains to immoral act, by all means you must refuse to accept the orders at the work place. But that is not enough, the boss may create problems for you and apply pressure because you have refused and he is in a losing situation. Therefore, it is better to bring it to the notice of higher management. Take a firm stand, but make sure the law is on your side.
