How can someone be ........without friends????

I dont understand how can somepeople think they dont need friends in life.I once happened to have met with an accident,it is a recent one though i escaped without any injuries,i indulged in damaging the car.It was like this,i went to my friends house we had fun & after one hour i was on my way back home.I already had a leg injury which has a differnt story which is out of the discussion but i still managed to ride the bike.After few minutes i left my friends house i went on to hit a car,it was my mistake the reason was that my leg was paining and i couldn't concentrate on my driving.The car got damaged at few places & unfortunately to my learing it was a new car which the servicemen was driving to the owners house.He insisted me to pay $25 otherwise he would loose his job.I was helpless i dint know what to do,he even worned me of calling cops. My house was very far from the spot & i was moneyless.from somewhere my friend arrived at the spot & somehow arranged the amount.And guess what he never took the amount back though i tried to return him someway or the other. This is how friends are.Do you have any such example of your friend?I would be happy to know if any.
