pls help me i am very depressed

pls help me iam very depressed and confused.I like one guy and want to marry him.But that guy have so many problem,according to him he belongs to rural area and i belong to delhi so this match is not possible,he needs atleast 3-4 years to established in his career and i am 26year old now,so he is asking shall my parent wait for 3-4 years and if he will not establish in his career how he will take my reponsibility? above all he liked one girl who has ditched him and but still he loves her,so how can he love me.but iam very serious for him feel comfortable with him and believe that my faithful and true love will help to erase his past and i ready to compromise with him in any conditions but i also have problem iam very highly qualified that guy is also very highly qualified,if in future i will get married with that guy there is no guaranttee for my career. pls iam very confused,depressed pls help me.i indirectly proposed for marriage to that guy,shall i try one more time,is that ruins my self dignity but if u love someone then i think self dignity does not count.pls help me i don't want to lose that guy otherwise it is very hard for me get marry in the future because i don't believe in arranged marriage it looks big compromise.
