I truly truly hope that this little one isnt TOO traumatized from his recent experience....I cant even begin to think what it was like for him to be in the apt with his dead mum....he must have been so scared with nothing to eat and mummy not waking up etc ya know...

As horrible as this MAY sound, its a good thing he is so young since chances of him really remembering any of this will be slim to none I would think.....

I hope that you are right and that the child is young enough not to remember any of this. There is no way for us to imagine what was going through this young child head.
I am however shocked that none of her neighbors noticed that she was missing. I would have thought that someone could have noticed sooner.

right now I seen on the news this morning he is caring around an old cell phone, acting like he is talking to his Mom. I wanted to cry, it almost brought tears to my eyes.

Oh the poor child, it is so sad to hear of things like this. I couldn't imagine what that poor little kid went through. It is so sad. I have a two year old and I know if something like this happened to me, he would be devastated as he is a real mummies boy.

Are you talking about Jesse Davis little boy, He was too young to understand he is only 2 yrs. old. I doubt that he will remember.

That is a nighmare. Maybe being at such a young age, the child will out grow any memories from this. One could only pray.
BTW side note, that link is to my local news station. That is were I go for all my news, LOL.

The dear little boy. How sad for his Mum to pass away like that. I just hope the family members who have taken him give him lots of love to get him through the loss of his Mum. I'm curious as to what happened to her. I wonder if they'll do some sort of follow up report.

Omg! That poor child! What a truly terrifying experience for him. I think with his age, his memory will be limited, but my 7 year old still recalls things that happened to him as a 2 year old..hospital visits, etc. i just hope that whoever is caring for this child now, will shower him with love, and care for him. Your heart has to go out for both the child, and the mother. He is a lucky little boy to have been discovered before he became too ill from lack of food and fluids.
Gosh...

What a sad story. Last week we had a four year old child here in locally who was found alone and his mother missing. The child said his mother (who was pregnant)was crying and was in a rug. Her body was found a few days later and her boy friend (a police officer) the father of the little boy and the unborn child was eventually arrest for her murder. Seemingly the child had seen everything but that was kept under wraps until after the arrest for the child's safety.

OMG that is horrid, I want to cry just from reading that. I think you're right though about him being young and so it won't traumatize him for to long. Its so sad for him to suffer such a great loss at such a tender age. Things like this makes a person more appreciative of what we have.

The minute I finished reading the story, I shouldn't help but feel depressed. I pity for the boy, good thing nothing bad happened to him...i suddenly miss my baby boy.
