How do you get through the trials in your life? For me it is resting in knowing that God is completely in control of my life. He has his hand on even the hard times. If I can't see the purpose in it, then I know God is using those times to strengthen and conform me. I keep Romans 8:28-30 close to my heart. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He would be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did presdestinate, He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. Agape.

It can be very hard to understand when some things happen. When you struggle with what words are right to say. I guess it is a test of faith. When you struggle with how to deal with a nasty neighbor. When someone treats you badly it is very hard to do the right thing and to say the right thing. He has a plan for us and we just have to hold onto that!

When I was younger I used to doubt there was a god and blame him for all the terrible things that happened to me. Now as a young adult I have realized the true gifts God has given me and how I wouldn't have them if certain things did not happen. I try really hard to remember when things get tough that God has a plan for my life and that he will also see me through.

Amen Kim!
Yes, the Lord is the One Who helps us thru the trials we endure in our lives. It is such a great and awesome comfort just to know that He is with us always and is helping us and blessing us constantly! He gives us strength, guidance and wisdom!
There is nothing that God cannot see us thru!
Great post and God bless!
