Where can I find banners?

Hi friends.I have a blog created by one of my friends which is created for charity purposes.She wants a banner created for her blog.She says she has 50 or so contacts through which she would popularize her blog.Just lemme know if there is any way to get hold of a free banner.Or are there any free tools to create a banner?
