Let's talk Fantasy Football. I just love it. It is the greatest fantasy game out there. Iv'e tried basketball and baseball, but Football is the only one that gets me excited.

Fantasy football is one of my favorite hobbies. Let me ask you this: do you repick your team every year or have keepers? We have been playing with the same guys for about 6 years now and recently we decided to go to a league that keeps everyone. You can only pick up new guys through the draft if you cut someone who is currently on your roster. This allows us to have an offseason of trading so we can have fantasy football 12 months a year!

That's a neat idea. My group has been playing together almost that long, and we do the baseball season as well. I sat out Baseball this year and since there is a long list of guys who want in our league they didn't have any trouble filling my spot. Because we often have one guy or another decide to sit out, we have found that a keeper league would almost be impossible. We talked about keeping only two, but where is the fun in that. Plus one of the biggest thrills in our league has been up to this point, Draft Day. That is the highlight of the year. That's more important then the playoffs. A keeper league would push the importance of the draft down quite a bit. I wonder if there is anybody that does an auction league. If so, what is your opinion of it compared to the other types?

I agree. I've tried fantasy basketball and fantasy baseball and that was just too much effort. With 100+ games for both sports, it's hard to keep up. With football, all you really have to do is set your roster once a week and tweak it the night before or early morning. I can't wait till football season nears so I can start doing fantasy football again.

Exactly. I usually put a lot of time into preparing for the draft, but then once the draft comes it's just a matter of reading up on the upcoming weeks matches and then scouring the waiver wire.
