Part of making backup copies of my document files before reformating my disk is to make a list of my installed programs files for future reference. This also helps me record what drivers and hot fixes I have and I'll need the next time I reformat my disk.
Here's how to make a list.
Download and install CrapCleaner at http://www.ccleaner.com/download/downloadpage.aspx it is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. Run Crap Cleaner then go to Options. Go to Uninstall. Click the Save to text fileā¦ button.
Print the txt file and keep it somewhere safe.

I have not heard about this software but I will check out it, I think it would be useful for make a good list of my installed programs, actually I have a cd with my the installer of my programs so every once that I reformat my hard disk, I have all my drives and programs, but I think it would do very well in a company, because a problem that reinstall the whole operating system are the drivers and programs, I don't like to install so many programs because it come with spyware as well, but if it is a good piece of software that will help me a lot, I think I can install it.
