How old your email ID?????

Hello Coolgeth, I have two accounts in Yahoo and one each in Gmail and Hotmail. I never reveal my Gmail address and also one of my Yahoo e-mail address as it is for personal use. I have another account in Yahoo for all this purpose and happily reveal it anywhere online *laugh* I also received many spams and I don't even glance at the topic. I just deleted everything unnecessary to me *laugh*

My Oldest email id is of Yahoo. I created that in year 2000. So its almost 7 years now with the Yahoo mail. After that I created my mail accounts such as in Hotmail, Rediffmail, Sify, Lycos etc. I use these accounts, one for a particular purposes, so that I can keep track of all them. I also have a email Id provided by my ISP, but I rarely use that nowadays.

I have only had my gmail account open for about a year now. I go through it and delete old messages, get rid of all spam daily and empty my trash every couple of days. I do find it easier using gmail than yahoo though especially when sending attachments and pictures.

I have a yahoo id which i have been using from 2002.Its the one i have given to all my friends.I too get a lot of spam mails daily in my inbox and bulk and i get frustrated to delete all those mails. But i cant change this account because eventhough i have another yahoo and gmail id , almost all my friends and relatives get in touch with me through this id which is also my yahoo messenger id. I think all the personal email id get lot of spam mails which cannot be helped.Hope we should cope up with this and keep going.

I have yahoo acount I created when I was 18 years old almost 9 years...It is active..I got 100-200 mails a day...I can't read what is all about..I open it 2-3 hours to read what inside in their mail...I know deleting their mails is a bad etiquitte knowing inside..Almost of the mails is from my interest that I joined last 9 years ago...And the rest is I dont know where they got my email address..

I have an ancient email address that started as an AOL account in 1991... so that would make it about 16 years-- Course it was a little later that they opened up to the expanding internet---- Its fun to keep around for old times sake if nothing else.

One of my online friends has a gmail account which he uses as his 'forwarding' address. You send him the mail, and then it forwards to his real account. He has it set so that not everything gets through, and he can keep more control of it. I use the 'spam' button wherever possible to make sure that spam is reported. It can be difficult, but you can also keep track of it if you pay enough attention to it.

mm...it is two year old...i have created when i am studying in 10th standard.my cousin created it for me.but i become active in mail since i joined gmail last year.i think in december.i dont get any spam mails because i am not using it for registering or i dont give my mail id to any.i afraid the boys than spam messages!just joking..ha...i have a email in hotmail which i used to register sites!

I have had my yahoo account for a very long time now. I think I created it in 2000. I just created my gmail account this year so it's still pretty new and not as active.

My is 6 month since I join agloco.

hi there!:) My email id is some 10 or so years old now! it's so dear to me, haha! I always use this default account of mine with friends, family and general things. however, for official use, I have another account which is 3 years old:)

My ISP Pop Mail accounts 9 years. Yahoo about 7 years. Gmail when it was by invite only and at that time almost no spam. ISP has good spam filter, Yahoo, and Gmail spam boxes fill up quickly. My state has a law that spammers have to pay $10.00 for each unsolicited email but it is hard to run them down, but responding to them with that info causes a sudden stop of spam for awhile. A US senator had to pay $40.00 2 elections ago.

I have an email ID I made in 1998 and still use to this date, so that's around 9years now. I design each email ID based on the use of such email. So all the email I have I still very much use to this date. I have msn/hotmail, yahoo, lycos, and gmail

Hi, I started with my Yahoo Mail id in the year : 2003 .

Though I have email id for 6 years, it became very active only from last year when I joined mylot.

My hotmail account has been around since about 1999 I think. I've started and then gotten rid of several email accounts since then, through other free email services as well as through my internet service provider. I always seem to think that I want to have other accounts for doing different things with, but then I never use them. Just recently I started a new account via my husband's band's webpage, only to find that I couldn't get it to work properly. I'll probably eventually fix it and start using it, but I haven't been feeling well and so don't want to bother right now. My hotmail account gets way too much spam because it's been used to sign up for too many things over the years, but I'm loathe to abandon it because once in a while old friends contact me that way. Mostly people I knew online years ago, and they'll email me suddenly and say "Are you still out there?" It's kind of neat.

I wonder why you need to create another account. If I saw spam messages, I will immediately delete it. A day of not logging in, and I need to deal with huge spam messages. I got my first yahoo email ID 5 months ago and gmail 2 months ago. I wasn't able to have s computer for a good number of years and purchased the whole complete set-up early February of this year.

i have a 9 year old yahoo account and im still using it.. anonther one is just 3 years old and my newest one is from gmail, just about 2 months.

My email has a long history and I'm still using it. My Hotmail account is from 1997. When I started to use internet, this is my first email account.

I started to have an email last 2000 during my college days. Its true i dont know why lots of spam and junk mails. I usually send the spam to spam blocker and delete the junk mail.
