Is it better to take a shower or bath at night or in the morning?

This has been the burning question since the dawn of time when the caveman first realized that he didn't smell so good, but was too lazy to wash up before he went to sleep and was willing to manage with his foul odor till the next morning. So goes it even today with the busy schedules of modern man, it has still become a matter of master decision making.

shower - taking shower in the morning is fast and not relaxing and pleasant.
i dont know what is better in general, but i know which one is better for me. Well i prefer take bath at night just before going to sleep, it makes me relax and easier fall asleep. and in the morning i have no time for taking shower or bath, i didnt used to shower myself fast, if i wanna fresh up i wash my face with cold water and that will do.

That's a fair answer, I wonder what the percentage of people that share your routine is? It seems to me this is the most common. The shower before bed, then the touch up in the morning before you go off to work or school.

depends on the weather...if it has been hot during the day i prefer to take a shower at night so i dont go to bed all sweaty, but in the winter i take a shower in the morning

Yes it seems that in the winter it is easier to get by without the shower or bath before bed. It is really enjoyable though to take a really nice hot shower in the morning. What a good feeling that is ha?

I heard from a friend mentioned Chinese leader Mao loves showering in the morning with cold water which keeps him fit. In my opinion, its good to take shower once you are back home from outside and of course cold water shower in the morning.

A cold shower in the morning is definitely a waker upper. There is nothing like taking a good shower too after a hard days work for those that do construction work for example. All in all I think showering or bathing is not just a hygiene matter but is also therapeutic.

To me I always take a shower twice a day. One I take early in the morning and the other one I take around seven or eight p.m. at night. Sometimes if I have a lot of work to do I will postpone my shower to midnight. Lol. My husbands always nag at me when I take shower at midnight because it is not a good thing to bathe during that hour. It is not healthy because the weather is cold and if done regularly it is easy to catch cold or flu and even joint aches.

It's better to never take a shower or bath at all. That way everyone, even when they can't see you, will be able to tell when you've entered or left the room.

I prefer both. I love feeling clean. I take a bath before I go to bed, and as soon as I get up. If it's a day when I'm working hard at home, sometimes I take one in the middle of the day.

I think taking shower or bath in the morning and at night is both good for us. It's nice feeling clean and refresh in the morning before you go out.Its also the same feeling when you take a shower or bath before you go retire to bed at night and you'll be sleeping much better. :-)
