My husband and I are looking into getting a pop-up camper. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what we should look for in one. Are there features that we should try to get? Things we can live without? Any brand names that are better then others?
Thanks in advance for your tips!

We had a Jayco 1007 pop camper for nine years and loved it, We recently bought a 26 foot travle trailer and now love that. The one thing i would say is a must have is a real fridge, not an ice box, this comes in handy although it is not very big it helps with keeping meat at a steady temp, another thing that is a nice feature is a furance, but if you dont have one a ceramic heater will do the job.

we had an old 70's palomino. you had to lift the sides to pop it up and pin it to lock it in place. it had an ice chest, a sink, a stove, and a furnace. it worked on a car battery or a plug in 110 volt system. it worked terrific for us for years. newer ones have crank up tops, refrigerators w/ice makers, bathroom w/shower, A/C, and stoves that can be removed and mounted outside for outdoor grilling. i guess it depends on how fancy you want to get. i am quite sure that you will enjoy whatever you get. happy camping.
