Why do some people do better in life than others?

I mean what helps some people stay more motivated to do well when others who do not have as many struggles seem to just not do anything, and they have all kinds of opportunity. Then someone who has one problem or struggle after another just seems to keep on going and eventually make something of themselves. Just wondering about some things today. What are your thoughts?

Two things come to mind....#1 - I think it depends on each persons definition of "success" and the exrpession "doing well/better than"....and #2 I dont think comparing one persons struggles to another persons struggles is right by any means...Its like comparing pains and thats impossible to do.... Why do some ppl seem to do better or have more success on various levels or any level for that matter...Well I think alot of it has to do with how we play the hand we're dealt in life.....What we think, feel, see, say, how we react, our thoughts etc etc all play a part in what happens in our lives IMO....I'm a firm believer in karma and what you put out into the world in your actions, reactions and even your thoughts and feelings is what you'll get back in life...

That is an interesting perspective, I do believe that whatever you put into life is what you will eventually. recieve in return. Except sometimes life is funny and you get more or less out of life than what you put into it. Just my opinion though.

You mean, the grass is more greener than the other side of the fence?", Hmmn... each person is different. One person work hard thats why better things come all the more. Other people work just as he wants to work and satisfied with what she/he has in life. You cannot compare from one person to another. Each one is unique and has their own views and ways on how can they make their life better. Some people are better because they don't have to sweat themselves, they are born with a silver spoon in their mouth, so why working hard when better benefits are already on the grasp? Other individual would like to work for the better to make it their life more successful and rewarding. It really depends on the person, if you keep on thinking that others are better than you, then its up to you. This type of character is limited. Better life is a matter of how you view and work hard for it.

I think that is a very good comment, think that many people can do better and have more of the good things in life if they will work harder to achieve the things that they want.
