Looking for songs

I have a friend who loves The Fray, in particular, their song "How To Save a Life". I'm trying to make a cd for him and I'd like to find some new songs that are similar in sound. I was hoping to find some suggestions of bands and songs here. Please send any and all song ideas my way! Thanks in advance!

You've probably already made the CD, but I would've recommended: Nickelback - Hero Snow Patrol - Over My Head Coldplay - Clocks and; Eskimo Joe - Pressure I probably haven't helped, but I hope he enjoyed the CD anyway!
