What is our role in this life?

Once a really smart man told me the life are thigc which happens whn you are making olans for life. So dont think what is life and what is our purpose, you do what you like and try to do the best you can. Try to change the world and dont believe that god will save you he can help you but everything you do is abou YOUR decision you are making ypur life and not anybody else. So when you take life as a journey and not as somethong obligatory then you will become true person and enjoy.

Somebody said we born to die and to reborn again. This life maybe a test for the next life... No one knows, that's why you live every second of youre life high.

yryna_yry, Very interesting question. Yes, I have definitely wondered this many times in my life. Especially after a very traumatic experience such as abuse, child abduction, homelessness, hunger, etc that I have experienced. Also, as the seventh child of the family, I was supposed to have been aborted so the question is especially intriguing. Many times I have concluded that I am here to be used - often at the expense of my own feelings, happiness, or stability - I have been used as an instrumental force in ending child molestation for two children who were my stepkids for a time, showing a partner how to love themselves again and to experience love from others (which will likely end with him moving on and me left alone again), etc, etc. I will be forty next month and have three children. If I could go back to the age of 17, knowing what I know now...the pain and obstacles I have survived personally, the difficulties my children face in the world and will face as society further becomes demoralized and impoverished, by my own hand I would have never lived long enough to have had children or gotten even to this point to be posting this.

That's a good discussion. I think we all have a role, and this role is different for each one. So I think we must find our personal role, or invent it. Make it really personal and fight for it.

I beleive the sole purpose of humankind is to praise and honor God. He created us for this purpose.
