Would you rather say the truth that hurts or keep it secret to make peace?

Sometimes I just can't say the truth in some situation that might hurt somebody. I usually keep it secret but always feel guilty that I know what he or she should know. What do you do?

I don't tell unless it's my place. It depends on the circumstances. Who it is you're keeping the secret from and also if telling the secret would make a difference. For the most part I'm honest. Matters of the heart are the secrets that hard to tell. I'm also not the one that lots to get caught up in a lot of drama. But if it was a close friend I would probably say something if it was sagnificant enough.
