What Do You Do On A Very Hot Day To Keep Cool?

I know I live here in Cleveland,Ohio where it's usually cloudy and raining,but today we are in the lower 90's. I usuaully sit in a shaded area and sip on an ICEE. Just wondering what kinds of things do people do across the country or the world for that matter on a nice hot sunny day?

I live in Pennsylvania. I have a very low tolerance for heat and humidity. I have to have the air conditioning on in my house. The air conditioning doesn't work very well on the second floor of my house, so I have a fan on up there as well. If it's really how I'll also drink ice water or eat ice cream to help cool me off. Sometimes I'll also mist myself with water from a spray bottle which is very helpful for keeping cool.
