Any one else feel that humanity has become reliant on cell phones?? Is living without a cell phone similar to living without a vital organ? Personally, its bothers me that cell phones have gone from a accessory to a neccesity. My 7 year old cousin almost had a nervous breakdown when my aunt took her phone as punishment. It's really not that serious!

I'll be the first to admit I can't live without my cell. I wouldn't go nuts if I didn't have it, but I would get lonely lol

My mom gave me a cell phone and I hardly ever use it. In fact, I hardly ever use my real phone. I would have a harder time giving up my computer, though. But, I use it a lot for business transactions, so it would mean a loss of income if I didn't have one.

Yes i agree to you completely. Cell phones have nowadays become a necessity from luxury. I cannot imagine living without the cell phone. I talk in the cell phone for about 2 - 3 hours daily. So if the phone is taken away from me due to some reason, i would feel very dejected.

I've never had one and the only time I wished I did was on a trip because I wanted to make some local calls and the hotel charged very high rates for them, so I didn't make any.

I rely on my cell phone a lot. In fact my husband put it through the washer a few days ago, and I find myself reaching for it all the time, and very disappointed when it's not there!! There are a couple of reasons I like to have my phone. I feel that when I'm driving it's nice to have it in case of an emergency. I have some ADD, so it's nice to have it for when I think of something I need to do, or someone I need to call. I also like it because most of my family and friends have the same carrier I do, so it makes it easier for us to keep in touch. We all get free minutes when we talk to each other, so we don't have to worry about high long-distance bills.
