I actually have a few different places I stash money; a tin, a purse, a compartment in my handbag, a hiding place in my wallet.
So saying, I put 2 ten dollar notes on the bench in the kitchen to give to a friend and when I went to get them they were gone. I have no recollection of moving them and they are not in any of my hiding places. It's horrid to think a visitor has taken the opportunity to pinch them as my friends know I'm struggling financially. That's life I guess. Who knows, I might find $20 unexpectedly one day.

Oh so awful...but maybe you can hide it somewhere, where no people could see them.

I have one piggy bank for saving coins. I place all of my coins into it until it is full. Then I give it to my son as pocket money.

I still have a piggy bank at home. Actually its my son's. He got 3 big ones but he is not really using it. So what i do is i put a date on the bottom of the piggy bank, then i started to put some coin change whenever i get home. i want to see how long will it take to make it full.
