i don't feel comfortable wearing a blue jeans to a formal party such as wedding party nowadays, people there always wore formal clothes
so i no longer wear it
my mother also forbid me to wear it
but i still met some people wearing a jeans and even sneakers to a formal party
i don't think it's suitable, i think by wearing a more formal outfit, we put big respect to the host of the party

Absolutly not, nothing in the word or deffinition of jeans will you find a comparisson to that of the word formal, I can't believe anyone higher than a rube from the sticks would even consideer sush a thing. It is a recent trend with todays youth and the declining numbers in they way they dress for certain occasions, im not sure how this problem occured or how it got to this point, but it is a problem and we need to do something about it.

If it says formal party, I would dress formal. I think it shows respect. I am a big fans fo jeans myself and I never wear jeans to a formal party because I think that somehow demean the host and the guests there. Besides, I would look awful and not really respectful to the whole event. I will just play by the rule if it says a formal party.
