I mostly wear sneakers myself. I have to have a really good sneaker as i do high impact exercise classes and have problems with my ankles. I also work on cement floors and my feet have a tendency to swell as well. I wear asics brand sneakers they are a bit pricey but they work well for my ankles and feet as they have really good supports in them. I do wear sandals in the summer sometimes as well but i find they bother my feet. What kind of foot wear do you prefer and why? Do you have to have special foot wear for medical or work reasons?

for me shoes must be comfortable and fit. I wear shoes depending on my outfits. Be it sneakers, stilletos, sandals, the most important aspect for me is the durability of the shoes and the feeling of being comfortable with what I am wearing.

I wear sneakers as well, I have foot problems...flat feet and heel spurs, the only sneakers I can wear without orthodics are Ryka.
I work with developmentally disabled adults, so sneakers are best, you never know what you will be doing- going hiking, playing catch or cooking a meal.
I find dress shoes are pure pain to wear, some other shoes can be ok for a while, then I start getting foot cramps.

I mostly wear sneakers, I even have a dressy looking pair that I wear to work (black dress shoes required). I always wear Reebok's because they are so comfortable. I use to think that the brand names didn't mean much but after trying on my first pair of Reebok's, I never went back.
