How do Christians adorn themselves?

Hellow everyone. Fashion nowadays in terms of clothing, apparel is noticeably has a big impact in our lives. We will notice everywhere, they say it, " this is the trends". that many wears very fit and thin clothes almost shape of the body is seen. There is spaghetti type they call it, where their bumpers is obviously out. They are wearing fit jeans, short, hanging dress, and backless type. Also part of world trends, is wearing tinted and highlighted makeup and eyebrows and lipstick. In Christians, is there really a teachings how to adorn themselves?

I've seen a lot of variations in dress among people that call themselves Christian. I think it has to do with the fact that there are many Christian denominations, each with their own rules. Also there are many people for whom religion doesn't even cross their mind in deciding what clothes to wear.
I'm not Christian myself, but I grew up in an area that is largely Christian, and some of the churches there had rules about whether you could wear earrings, and always having to wear long skirts, and things like that. I think a lot of the younger people found them very stifling, and often moved on to less stringent denomninations once they left their parent's homes.

*nods* I was pretty sure there were some rules in the Bible, but often those sorts of things get left out of modern Christian practices. There are tons of rules in the Bible that the modern churches simply ignore, or that aren't even known by many Christians.

Yes your right, but they are not Christians of the Bible. Yes, they profess that they are but deny of their deeds. Some of them built their own church or organtization but some leaders and pastors are after only the money, they do as a business for their own interest. That is why there's so many group of denomination scattered everywhere.But Christians in the Bible follows the teachings of Christ with faith.

I have seen this trend, and don't forget the guys with there baggy pants and loose fitting clothing. I wish the parents would take the time to teach the importance of proper dresses to their kids since the schools no longer seem to be doing this.
