I love it when this happens! I think it's a shame we do not get more power cuts in this country, because when we go get them, it is usually only a matter of minutes before we have electricity again! For me, it's a nice peaceful time - I love silence, and darkness, so when there is no power, there is no television, no radio, and obviously no light. I have always loved it when the electricity goes off. I remember as a child, my parents would place candles all over the house, and we would all just sit around and talk - which is something people don't do enough of these days! :o)

IPower outages in my place is very rare nowadays that is why I started thinking about your question. hmmm.... I think since our place does not have that much brownout anymore having one would make me so uncomfortable already because I got used to it and never thought that it would just stop.

well when the current goes off at home i switch on the emergency lights and continue with what i was doind as long as it doesn't solely depend on power... and in office they have generators to manage that situation...

Dinner By Candlelight - Victorian dinner in Candlelit hall.
I love it when we lose the electricity, especially at night, because it is usually the result of an electrical storm, which are rare in Australia, and in the area in which I live, and I enjoy them. I normally light a candle, of have a torch handy and I either walk in the rain, sit and read or my family all play card games/board games in the candle light. =D I enjoy it very much.
