Hey gals do you like men who is shorter than you???

I went from a relationship to where a guy was almost a foot taller than I was to where a guy was barely an inch taller. I must confess that I liked the idea of the guy being taller than I am. When I put heels on, I was taller than my shorter guy which made me feel wierd. Not to mention I felt safer with the guy that was taller than I was. I'm not really sure why, but it was almost like I knew he could protect me. I'm not saying that my short guy wouldn't protect me, I'm just saying that I felt like the tall guy could do a better job of it. I'm single now, but I have a feeling my next boyfriend will be a tall guy!

Im someone who is short.Infact Im only 164 cmc high.I think its not my problem that I have become like this.Its just genetic.I have seen many gals getting attracted to guys who are taller but not to someone who is shorter.Really thinking,is it their problem which made them short?All short fellows are not good or doesnt have a good personality??

I don't really get attracted with guys who are short or shorter than me. But sometimes we can't choose whom to fall for and sometimes one might just fall for a short guy. If ever I fall for one, then I would no doubt be happy to marry that guy or be with that guy regardless of his height.

Well, in general men should be taller than women. It does matter to me if my spouse was shorter than me. For me, I find it awkward when I see a man is shorter than a woman walking hand in hand.

I mostly don't like the guys who are shorter than me and hence avoid looking at them...I mostly get attracted to heighted people...and my guy is taller than me so no problem for me...

i want my gut to be taller than me.. i dont care if he is a 6 footer.. as long as he's tall.. i stand 5 flat so i'd prefer man who is taller than me..

I did date a guy that was shorter than me one time and it didn't bother me. However, I am now married to someone taller than me and we have been together almost 13 years so I guess that height is not an issue for me either way.

Although I don't have a problem with height and I don't choose a person just because they are taller than me, both my ex and my now husband are taller than me. I don't believe I have taken height into consideration when I was looking for a guy to be with. I am not really sure I didn't subconsciously either though. :)

I like it more when a guy is a little bit more taller than I am...but over all, height really doesn't matter at all...it's the respect and acceptance that counts most.

Hello Coolgeth, Unfortunately for me, I prefer taller man. I don't have the reason why I chose a taller man rather than a shorter one (Oh, I don't feel good to use that term - shorter *smile* ) I am not a tall person myself but I am lucky to have a taller husband *laugh* But here in my country ( my own people I guess) they say that a man shorter than his wife will bring more luck to their lives. Well, don't ask me more... I don't even know whether this is a myth or a truth *smile*

Honestly, I really don't care what height my prospective boyfriend happens to be. To be honest, it really wouldn't be at the front of my mind. On average, though, I tend to go after older men, which usually means they're almost always taller than I am. That, and I'm not that tall in the first place. I'm only five foot, eight inches, so a majority of the guys I hang around happen to be taller than I am. Not that I really hang around a bunch of guys, but I guess if I *did*, they would be taller than me. Either way, no, height doesn't matter.

No I like men a bit taller than me. But I think it's because I was the shortest between my three brothers and I. They are all 6' plus where I am only 5'3. So I think I just grew use to looking up at guys instead of looking down at them.

Well I'm married so I'm not sure if my opinion still counts LOL. But long long ago when I was dating, I always preferred men that were taller than me. My husband is taller than me. I like being able to rest my head on his shoulder when he hugs me.

I can't speak for the ladies, but I think very tall women are very sexy. Allison Janney, Lucy Lawless! Mmmm mmm! Course I am marrying someone who is 5 inches shorter than me. Just goes to show you, you marry a whole person, not a height marker.

height matters to me. I just feel uncomfortable if men are shorter than me. My partner is several inches taller than me though so I don't have that problem. I like it that way.
