Hi Friends, Lets see howmany of us want to enjoy just today and how many want to save somehing for tomorrow? If i consider my case, I want to enjoy today, yes but ofcorse think about tomorrow, I dont have much saving habit but I try to save something for tomorrow. M husband is more calcuatie and planned for the future and I therefore may be more relaxed as I know he will think about tomorrow, so I can think about today. If both of us think only for tomorrow then we will miss the today, right?

I think I am a saver and I want to save money for tomorrow.because tomorrow is unknown,so we can not spend all we have, sleep all we want,so just save some money.

Yes, but taht is the traditional way of thinking, im not saying it is not right to think that way, most wise old people tend to want to save for the rainy day, or so to speak. But if overly cautious about the future, how can you live your life happy today? I think it is more important to live your life happy today as you dont know what might happen to you tomorrow...

Husband and wife are tow wheels of a cart of a family. If one of these two is not in working order then the cart will suffer and will not be able to go forward effectively. So you should also think and work as your lord is thinking and working. If you have enough income source so as you can spend as well as save then that is ok, It does no matter to spend as per your requirement. But remeber that you are not aware of your tomorrow. So you should also arrange a shelter or umberala also for your future. past left present is present and future is coming. Can you manage good living for tomorrow? ask this question from your innerself and attend what your brain replies and decide for you.

hi sweetie, i think i am more an extravagant and like to enjoy life to the fullest. this has developed lately though. i would like to listen to my heart than my brain. i donot have anyone to save for, except my parents and myself. so i can afford to splurge in my extravagance. lol.. my father takes care of my financial savings, so i am pretty much relaxed in that regard. have a great day.

I see it this way. What if here was no tomorrow?? no one knows how long they will be here on earth. I would rather enjoy the moment. I know that each day i am here i will be able to enjoy something. So I live for today.

Hi fellow myLotters =D well it really does depend on what you are talking about. If you are talking about work/homework, i do spread it evenly across the time it must be done to reduce stress. But i also sometimes like to just enjoy everything up till the last minute, then start stressing, but i find the first method more appropriate and efficient. Last minute studying doesnt really work for me. In terms of food, i do tend to save the good things till last so i can enjoy it to the fullest. But since i am a slow eater, my brother tend to (sometimes) eat everything so i dont really get the good bits at the end =.=

Money, my friend, is a totally different issue then. To me, i would save money for tomorrow, and not spend it all today, while using sufficient money to survive today though! I have been brought up by my parents as a saver and to save for the "rainy day" or so to speak. (being asian, that is the typical way parents bring up their kid) I respect that tradition and i think it is very wise! i think i will follow this way of life when i get older so i do not have to worry about life after retirement as i would have a huge stack of money to rely on after i receive no more income =D What about you? are you a saver or spender? by the way, dont hesitate to rate my post positive if you found my post good =D

A wise person will alays save his earnings today for a rainy day-The fute is a very opaque scenary, you may be rich today, if you dont manage your wealth well, you will be pauper tomorrow and your rich past will haunt you for ever! So Plan for the future by saving for tomorrow.

When I was working I was always saving, I was brought up to be frugal with my money, so I was always putting bits away for a rainy day, well I'm glad I did I was able to give up work and go back to college to learn a different trade. But in this volatile world it's best to enjoy and take each day as it comes and not plan too far in advance.

U said it nicely. Yes when I think this world is volatile i dont want to save to ( save but not too much) and then i start fighting with my husband as he is more of a future person and plan everything how to spend tomorrow...I like to enjoy everyday, not only tomorrow

At this stage in my life i definately enjoy today and live for the moment...I have learned unfortunately far too early in life that tomorrow doesnt always come...so why waste time planning for days that you may never see..ppl in todays world tend to let that "worrying about tomorrow/next week/next yr" consume them and the immediate moments in their lives, the "todays" pass them by...I refuse to live like that anymore ya know....Enjoy today, love for today, live for today and deal with tomorrow when it gets here ;-)

I want to enjoy now also & also want that i continue to enjoy in future. It has to be a balanced situation. As a person i expect to live & live a comfortable life in future also. For that one has to make decisions. It is really a thing understanding. But that does not mean don't enjoy now.

"Dont plan and worry about tomorrow or the future. You never know what will happen next. So just enjoy today's life and be happy". This is the best thing I have learnt so far from my life and thats my policy. This is because, most of the plans I had for the future never happened. That doesnt mean it happened badly for me. But many good things more than I expected has happened to me.

I want to live today! I am always spending my money today. More for my children not myself. I buy my children tons of toys and clothe and pretty much anything they want. And I really dont make that much at all. Neither does hubby. So alot of the times I am very behind on bills...just to buy things for my children. I DEF think about the future, but I think about what I wish I had. I am thinking about the future when I pay my income tax on my house every yr.....the more we pay the sooner we will have it payed off and wont have to worry about it...right?

Hi my friend! yes you are absolutely right and when you have that payoff totally you can realx and enjoy without any worries. I think that too and try to payoff all the dues as soon as possible, that is always a big relief.

i definitely want to enjoy my life now, but the thought of living paycheck to paycheck in the future just scares me. so i'm putting a limit on my spending allowance and diverting them to savings instead. financial advice always say the same thing: if you start saving early, the better chances you'll have of having a bigger payout in the future (because you'll be taking advantage of higher interest rates and a longer time period in which to earn from them). happy saving!

Well at my age I don't see much sense in saving so I don't bother. Young people do need to save some for their golden years and hope they live long enough to spend it. But don't do without today in hopes of having more in the future, it doesn't always work out the way you want it to. There is an old saying...Live for today, for tomorrow may never come. Just be responsible in how you spend. And plan your future.
