I put some eggs on to boil and foregot all about them until I started smelling something really rank. I suddenly remembered the eggs and went to check them. The water was gone and the eggs were burning. It totally ruined my pan and the eggs. Has this ever happened to you? I feel really stupid when I do stuff like this.

NO I have not forgotten eggs but I have ruined other food and the pans it was in. I tried to cook a roast out on the barbarque one time in a baking pan. I got the coals too hot, burned the roast pan and all man that was a good pan also. I had to find something else to cook for dinner. My plan was to cook the roast on the coals out doors so I would not have to heat the house up becuse it was summer and I wanted roast. Next time I will do it the slow cooker. LOL
