Anybody here working in a call center? Ever since this industry boomed, alot of people are wanting to be a part of it. The pay is great compared to regular "day jobs". Career advancement is easier specially if you joined a pioneering account. The only downside is that some companies require to make you work at night time. Some of us prefer to spend our weekends on gimmicks, but if you work in a call center, you may have to learn to adjust your schedules and gimmick nights. Let me know who works for a call center. Do you enjoy being in your current company. Who gives the best compensation? Let your thoughts be heard!

What's the name of the call center you are training in right now? Is this going to be your first call center job? Hope you will be able to make it! Best of luck and welcome to the call center industry!

Hey, I used to work at Convergy's too. I resigned last January of this year. The pople at my site was nice and frinedly. We had a solid team. My location was in Commonwealth. The account was not stressing. I just had an emergency that made me leave my work. Hopefully, everything should work out just fine.

I can't send you a pm unless you accept my friend request. Where are you located anyway? I may be able to recommend you to some call centers if you really want to work there. They just ask you basic questions like tell something about yourself. The exams are more about grammar and if you apply for a technical position, they may ask some technical questions.

I worked for a call center company twice after I graduate college. Yes I admit the pay is high and competetive compared to other jobs. Though the environment is not that good as well as the working schedules. The present company I worked for now gives me a high pay than the call center I worked for and the schedule I have is great. d=)

Does it mean that you don't work in a call center now? Good for you that you found a "regular job" that pays well. Its too bad however that you worked for a call center that doesn't have that hip, friendly atmosphere. I have been with the call center industry for almost four years now and as far as what I have experienced, they were all nice to me and the environment was great.
