This post is for women only. Much as our male mylotters would want to join, I think you wouldn't have any idea what this is about. Hey gals, what do you do when you experience PMS? Do other women do not go through this? Why do we turn into a "monster" when we have PMS? Why are we soo grouchy and irritable? I used to think that it's just all in the mind. I began to notice that there are times that I get easily irritated, and then a few days later.. Comes the unwanted "visitor". When you feel that you are on PMS mode, do you warn your husband, bf or family that you are not in a good mood? As much as possible, when I feel that I'm about to have it, I tell my hubby to stay away fom me, or be patient with me. How about you girls?

most women experiences PMS whenever they will have their menstrual flow every month. and i think its due to hormones and maybe psychological.
i found an article saying that "physical, emotional and psychological changes that occur in PMS coincide with hormonal changes of the menstrual cycle. PMS may be a response to declining levels of estrogen and progestorone that occur just prior menstruation."
but i consider it more to be mor psychological since there is no scientific evidence that its due to changes in our hormones. maybe it the "uneasy" feeling that we feel, whenever it will occur thats why our mood changes and becomes irritable.

Thank you for your post. I think it pms have different effects on women. But one thing holds true. Women are really uncomfortable during that time of the month :D

I'm not sure why we get so grouchy, but I'm sure it's related to hormones. I track my cycles for the most part, so I pretty much know when it's going to hit. I normally warn my husband and friends that it's going to happen. Before I had my son, I didn't really get 'pms', just cramps. However, now I can feel my mood changing when it's about to come. I try not to let it effect my attitude, but it's overwhelming and I really can't control it too much.

I think that's the best we could do. Warn our loved ones when it's that time of the month. It's really surprising how our moods can be changed just because of our monthly period.
