What is the first musical instrument you have learned to play?

The first musical instrument that I learned how to - Guitar was the first musical intrument that I picked up and learned how to play. It is easier than piano and much lighter. I can bring it anywhere I go.

The first musical instrument that I learned how to play was the guitar. The first song I learned was Green Day's "Good Riddance". I was really glad that I have one instrument that I know how to play. It adds up to my skills:). I am trying to learn the piano lately. It is harder for me to learn the piano than to learn the guitar. I hope that I can progress with my piano playing. I tried learning the violin before but it is too painful for me. How about you what is the first musical instrument that you learned how to play?

The first musical instrument that i have learned was the harmonica. My grandfather gave it to me when i was in gradeschoool. It was an old harmonica that he was able to kept it many years ago,it has a great value to me. I also play the piano well through self-study.

i wish i can play wind instruments. but i cannot for the reason that i have asthma. i have difficulty in blowing these instruments. my blows are not enough i guess. besides i easily got tired doing it. :)

the first instrument that i have learned to play was the harmonica. My grandma gave it to me when i was a kid, i am good at it when i a, kid, but right now i am not good at it anymore. Maybe its because i forgot to practive playing since i have been doing alot. But the second one that i have learned to play is the flute, i can tell that i am a bit good at that. I am the one who taught myself how to play the flute by using a guide, in which its tells do-re-mi pattern for the holes. I am learning how to play the guitar and keybord this past days, and i need alot of practice to be able to be good at it.

I very much wanted to learn Veena, a string instrument in my childhood. But the music school was very far those days, and my father could not afford that. Hence I made my children learn whatever instrument they want so that they should not feel disappointed like me. My son plays, key board, Mrudangam, a percussion instrument, drums, veena, and he learned vocal music as well and can sing western and indian classical. My daughter also learnt veena and vocal. My younger daughter is particular about violin and is learning and now she bought guitar. Both girls can play key board too. I see my unfulfilled wishes coming through in them.

The first instrument I learned how to play was the wooden flute. I was around 9-10 years old, I later learned how to play the piano. After doing that for 4 years I now play bass guitar in our band, Okatta, in The Netherlands. You can listen to some of our music here -- http://www.myspace.com/okatta Tell me what you think. I also make some of my own music, a bit different :P I make Ambient but also harder styles on my pc using Fruity Loops. I love the program. Listen to my music here -- http://www.myspace.com/nideco

This music changed my life heheheheh I ask my brother to teach me to play on the guitar. that was the first song i learned :)
