Once I lost my watch in the bus. Some one handed over that watch to the conductor. It was my first watch and my dad gave it to me. I cried after going to the office and called up my friend, who gets down in the last stop and she told that it was found in the bus. Then both of us went to the Bus Depot and got it back. After 35 years, even now I preserve that watch. Did you lose any item and got it back?

I have got some of my things miraculously.
I once lost my earring in the beach, we searched all over there, but did not get it. After two weeks we again went to the beach. By that time I have forgotten about my lost earrings, and wehn I was playing in a different part of the beach, I only got the earring back from the sand.

Yes, I lose my wallet when getting in my car and didn't know I dropped. I looked frantically for it, it had my identification, credit cards, money, checks and pictures plus other miscellanous items. I had to call my bank, my credit card company because I just knew I was not getting this wallet back. Well come to find out I lost it across the street from my house where I was parked and a neighbor found it and returned it with everything still in it. I was so happy to get the wallet back but now because I had cancelled my cards and reported to the bank about my checks and bank card. I had to go to the bank to withdrawal money and had to wait 3 to 7 days for my cards to be reissued. It did renew my faith in people, that there are still some honest folks around.

I am happy to note that you got it back. These sorts of things renew our lost hope in people. Certainly there are good people around. Thanks.

Oh yes I had the good fortune of having experienced this. My boyfriend and I went to a nearby mall to watch a movie. After the movie, we went to the food court of the said mall to eat. I don't remember how it happened but I left my wallet at the table. And I never noticed it til the following day which is a sunday. I was preparing my things for the work week and decided to change the bag that I used the other day. That is when I noticed that my wallet was missing. I called up my boyfriend immediately to ask if he has noticed it but he said no.
So the following day at the office I called up the banks to report that my credit cards were missing. I also told some of my friends about this misfortune.
Come mid-morning I received a call from the SSS asking me if I had lost my wallet. I was momentarily taken aback but I said yes nonetheless. Then she explained that a gentleman- a lawyer has called their office to tell them that he got hold of my wallet. He did not see any phone numbers in my wallet but he saw my SSS ID so he asked the SSS personnel to inform me that my wallet was given to the mall security. OMG! I could not believe what I heard. My wallet is safe and sound!
I was so grateful to that kind soul. I called him up to say my personal thanks.

It is almost like a miracle. We cannot believe that such things do happen. But they happen in our own lives.
