For everyone who speaks multiple languages, how did you learn to speak another language? I took Spanish when I was in school, but was never very good at it. I've always wanted to learn another language.

I'm from philippines so tagalog is our native language, then I know how to speak japanese but not that fluently. :) I'm an avid fan of anime and since their dabs are japanese, I found it really cute. So I got interested to learn about it. I bought books about How to learn Japanese and then borrowed some books from my dad too since he buys those kinds of books too, since he's travelling around the world. So I learned it by myself and hoping to learn more about it fluently where I could really have a teacher to train me with it. :)
