Hi, I do prefer mozilla firefox when compared to IE. When it comes on security, firefox is much safer and better to use. It has an advanced security feature, which you cannot find on IE. I like also the plug-ins and add-ons of mozilla firefox. Other than that, it is much faster and has tabs, though IE7 has. I only used IE when I can't open a website from mozilla browser.
That's it.
Have a nice day and God speed!

I prefer Firefox. Tabbed browsing is more efficient for going back and forth between websites. It is also much more stable than internet explorer.

Many of the features of the IE7 are the features that already existed in the older version of Firefox. So, Firefox rules and IE just follows.
Firefox is the best browser for me when compared to all the available browser in the market such as Internet Explorer, Opera, Browzar etc.
Performance and the Options available with the Firefox are just mind boggling are not available with the other browser. Another feature of Firefox that impressed me is that its ability to use Extensions which is actually limitless. You dont need to think of your own for any extensions, any almost every feature you need in a browser is available as a Extension for Firefox.
Also Security is one another very critical feature of Firefox, which is many times better than IE etc. You can completely disable javascript in Firefox, easily switch the proxy, control your favorite media player, auto refresh your pages, lock your pages and many other interesting features in Firefox.
Ability to Save your Session, and Restoring the Session when Firefox crashes are another important feature of Firefox, not available with other browsers.Only disadvantage I can find in Firefox is that, it consumes a lot of memory. Restarting the firefox solves this problem.

My vote obviously goes to Firefox!!! Apart from being faster when compared to IE, Firefox supports features like Pop-up blocking, download manager- I can always pause my download and resume it at a later date which is not possible with IE's download manager, tabbed browsing, Text formatting- the size of the text can be zoomed to any level when compared to IE which can zoom text only to 5 levels up !!! Firefox provides more security when compared to IE!! So,Firefox ROCKS!!

I'm going with Firefox, IE has much more spyware and other little issues. Firefox has some but it doesn't seem like I have ran into as many. The tabs in firefox are what got me to switch before, and even though IE has come out with tabs I am use to Firefox's and like them better.
I also like how favorates can be set on Firefox (thought I havn't bothered to check IE 7)
One final thing is searching for a word on a page, firefox has a nice little bar that pops up and you can search, IE has another window that pops up and constantly goes behind the window you are working in, I think that is pretty dumb.....just my opinion though.
