I keep hearing of acid rain.Is this real? is it ordinary rain with
acid in it? What damage can it do? and where can you expect to fall?

Acid rain is very real. It's ordinary rain that goes through layers of pollution and brings all those harmful elements down with it when it hits the ground. It can cause massive damage to vegetation, and skin irritation to humans. You can expect it to fall on areas of high air pollution.
