Do you smell the flowers which are given to you even you know it has no smell??

I just love to smell flowers even if all the pollen are in my nose, lol!!^^, i don't know why, for instance one gives me flowers then i will smell (gumamela), it has no odor but i intend to smell it, like rose, does it have a smell? GIRLS, do you smell the flowers given to you by your love ones, o even BOYS do you smell the flowers given to you by admirers..even for a fact that it has no smell and pretending it has.. WHY DO YOU THINK??
