Well, its all about priorities. I quit a very well paying job to become a stay at home mom. Its been a challenge because money is now tight but being rich in spirit and family is more important than being rich in money. My husband and I MAKE time for the family. We have dinner together at the table every night and then we read from the bible together after dinner. Family is more important than watching sports, playing sports, working a few more minutes at the office/store.

I have found that it helps to schedule a certain amount of time for business-and then for family time. And be rigid about it. Nothing is allowed to cut into family time. By the same token, family needs to know that interruptions into business time are not allowable either, with the exception of emergencies-real emergencies. I learned the hard way that you have to put your foot down or people will run right over you-from both sides.
