Granted, I'm very much an amateur when it comes to hiking, but I already have a favorite park. Clifty Falls State Park in Madison, IN has some of the most scenic trails I've been on. I would love to go back when the waterfalls are at their best next spring!
I'm always looking for new places to hike, though. Do you have any favorite parks/trails?

Oh you bet I do...how many do you want?
Let's see..my favorite place to hike is all the National Parks in and around Moab, Utah. There are three magnificent areas within a few hours driving distance of Moab...Canyonlads is a beautiful national park. Many of the car commercials with the great red rock canyons as a back drop are filmed there.
Montana has some wonderful state parts and hiking areas...as does Colorado, Arizona and most places in the Southwest.
Then if you are more into rocks, mountains and lakes there are countless places all through British Coloumbia, Idaho and that region.
For beautifl places that are not as known there are some magnificant places in Sourthestern Ontario in and around the Kenora area.
So as you can tell we are avid hikers and still hope to go to places like Costa Rica and explore the rainforests, then there is Alaska and Hawaii. I could go on...but that lets you know what we love.
Hope you continue to find wonderful sites that will lead you to exciting discoveries whereever the path leads you!
