should American Idol be retired?

its been on for a while but after a while shows loose their heat and start to die out i think that it can run for another season but the end is near what do you
think ?

Yes! In all honesty I think the show is doing nothing but going down hill now. I think the best season was when Carrie Underwood won. Since then the show to me has been getting worse every year. Especially this past season. Keeping Sanjaya on way too long just blew it for me. I don't think I will be watching American Idol anymore.
